WOW ... what an experience !!! I wanted to write this letter for any vendors who are trying to choose an agent to sell their home.
We listed our property for sale with Darrell Johnson from Knobel and Davis Property Services. We had dealt with Darrell when we bought the house 3 years earlier and found him to be very professional and knowledgeable then, so he was the first agent we thought to ring when we decided to put the house on the market. We are located in Melbourne so we put our trust in Darrell to sell our home and communicate with us from a long distance - we were not disappointed. Whether it was the little things he did like touching up paint work, organising tree removal, bringing items from his own home to complete the look of the furnished rooms or anything that he thought would improve the selling chances of the property, he did it all !!!
We have bought and sold a number of properties in Melbourne and have dealt with a number of different agents and we can honestly say that Darrell has been the most professional, trustworthy, and hard working agent we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We know that the market is tough in Queensland at the moment and Darrell pulled out every stop to help sell our home from the moment we listed the property to the moment it sold. We never felt out of the loop - he always contacted us via phone call or e-mail after every open home or inspection and gave us valuable feedback.

I have to tell you that after looking at numerous properties in the past week or so (now as a buyer), I have yet to meet an agent as professional and dedicated as you Darrell. I always knew this was the case but it is interesting to see what is out there. I have met some very nice people but they don't follow through with enquiries or bother getting back to me - when I almost have money to spend. It has been and continues to be (until we find the right place) a very interesting exercise.

I recently sold my property in Surfers Paradise with the real estate expertise of Karl Sebastian. I owned quite a unique property, something that Karl recognized, appreciated and marketed accordingly. The result being a contract in seven days.
